Saturday in Perth High Street

Our Good News Trailer made its first ever Saturday appearance on Perth High Street today. The town was busy, and it was a pleasure to once again meet folk from various parts of the city and further afield.

​We had company near the trailer in the form of a local busker who sang a variety of songs throughout the day, including one by the late Johnny Cash. Johnny Cash famously sang many hymns, and following a visit to Israel in 1968 wrote a song about the Lord Jesus Christ entitled, "He turned the water into wine". The song focussed on some of the incredible miracles Jesus performed, which proved that He truly was the Son of God.

​Johnny Cash also sang a touching version of the old hymn, "Were you there when they crucified my Lord?" written about the most important day in history, when Christ died for our sins upon the cross, to provide forgiveness to all those who trust in Him.
