We made the most of the winter sunshine today to start distributing invitations to a series of public talks we're holding in the Bridge of Earn Institute over the next 3 Thursday evenings (7.30-8.00pm on 1st, 8th, 15th Feb). For further details, check out our dedicated Bridge of Earn page.
If you received an invitation in Abernethy, Glenfoot, or Bridge of Earn today we hope you'll come along. If you live in the area and haven't received one yet, look out for it dropping through your letterbox soon!

In February we'll be running three short, illustrated, public talks in the Bridge of Earn Institute, putting Christianity Under The Microscope once again.
Thurs 1st Feb: Is God real? Thurs 8th Feb: Is the Bible reliable? Thurs 15th Feb: Is death final? You can find out more about this series of talks on our Bridge of Earn page. Everyone will be made very welcome whether they're a Christian, critic or just curious to find out more! There will be refreshments served afterwards and an opportunity to ask questions and discuss the subjects. Please get in touch to arrange transport, or for more information. We spent some time out in Dunning today, distributing calendars and cards around the village.
The most famous landmark in the village is the clock tower of St Serfs Church. The Bible says "When the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son..." (Galatians 4:4). It also says that "at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly..." (Romans 5:6) and that for each one of us "It is time to seek the Lord" (Hosea 10:12). |
