This morning we were in the village of Errol, distributing good news postcards. Along with some lovely views over towards the River Tay, we also found an old graveyard with some stones containing some thought-provoking poems...

We're in Bridgend, Kinnoull, Gannochy and Scone this week, distributing magazines, postcards and invitations to our special event at Costa Inveralmond at 7.30pm on Thursday 22nd (see previous post for details!) We encountered lots of ducks and a few dwarfs on day 1!
 Join us for an interesting, informal evening in the relaxed atmosphere of the Inveralmond Costa Coffee on Thursday 22nd August.
Come along from 7.20pm in time to order a drink and find a seat before the evening kicks off at 7.30pm. First drink is free and cakes are also provided! We'll have a fun quiz as an ice-breaker, then launch into a short, illustrated presentation on our subject for the evening "Christianity: What makes it unique?" in which we'll consider what makes the world's most followed faith different from all of the world's religions! There will then be time to discuss the subject and ask questions around the tables. This event will be ideal for those who perhaps aren't regular church attenders but would like to find out a little bit more about the Christian faith in a relaxed setting. Everyone will be made very welcome! Get in touch if you'd like to come, or just turn up on the night! |
