We've had a busy week conducting Christmas services in 9 care homes as well as visiting other individual's homes to sing carols. On top of that we had a busy night at our festive food bank on Monday, and have held Christmas Carol Services in Bridge of Earn, Perth and Comrie. Below are some pictures from some of the services.

Our soup kitchen / food bank initiative made the papers this week. Here's the short article from Tuesday's edition of the Perthshire Advertiser.
We're looking forward to holding Community Carol Services in both Bridge of Earn and Comrie in the lead up to Christmas.
First up is a service in the Bridge of Earn Institute on Friday 22nd December at 7pm. This will be the second year we've held a Christmas service in the village with around 100 people attending the first one last year. Then, as we draw closer to the big day, we'll have a Christmas Eve service in the Comrie White Church at 7.30pm on the 24th of December. This has been a well attended annual event in the village for many years now. Everyone is made very welcome to both of these services. If you need further details you'll find them on our special Christmas page, or feel free to get in touch. We're back in Methven this week, delivering copies of the Christmas edition of the Methven Messenger, along with a free 2018 calendar, to every home in the village.
This festive edition of the magazine has a number of interesting features and articles. You can read it online here. If you live in the village, look out for your copy dropping through your letter box any day now! |
