We've had a busy week conducting Christmas services in 9 care homes as well as visiting other individual's homes to sing carols. On top of that we had a busy night at our festive food bank on Monday, and have held Christmas Carol Services in Bridge of Earn, Perth and Comrie. Below are some pictures from some of the services.

Over the first 8 weeks of our new Good News Soup Kitchen / Food Bank initiative we've made a number of new friends and given out over 220 bags of groceries.

With Perth & Kinross Council's permission we're at the Thimblerow Car Park on Perth High Street every Monday from 7.30 - 8.30pm (although as a one off we'll be out on Tuesday 26th, rather than Monday 25th of December).

Those who visited the trailer tonight also received a Christmas parcel. As well as showing Christian kindness, we share the Christian message with those who come along - a message of hope which centers on the person of Jesus Christ who came from Heaven to earth to be the Saviour of the world.

Christmas in Perth High Street

We were back in Perth High Street today handing out invitations to our Christmas Eve Carol Service at Perth Gospel Hall.

There was a festive feel about the town today, with buskers playing Christmas songs and people busy doing their Christmas shopping. It was good to be able to remind the people of the city of the real reason for all the celebrations - that "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners."

Christmas in Bridge of Earn & Comrie

We're looking forward to holding Community Carol Services in both Bridge of Earn and Comrie in the lead up to Christmas.

First up is a service in the Bridge of Earn Institute on Friday 22nd December at 7pm. This will be the second year we've held a Christmas service in the village with around 100 people attending the first one last year.

Then, as we draw closer to the big day, we'll have a Christmas Eve service in the Comrie White Church at 7.30pm on the 24th of December. This has been a well attended annual event in the village for many years now.

Everyone is made very welcome to both of these services. If you need further details you'll find them on our special Christmas page, or feel free to get in touch.
